You may be entitled to a free NHS flu or COVID vaccine if you fall into one of the eligible groups, such as:

  • A form of ID (e.g. passport, driving licence, NHS card)

  • Your NHS number if you have it (not mandatory)

  • Any relevant medical information (e.g. allergies or current medication)

Most people experience mild, short-term side effects such as:

  • A sore arm where the needle went in

  • A slight temperature or tiredness for 1–2 days
